Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the “Public Notice on the List of Intelligent Manufacturing Workshops in Jiangsu Province for 2024,” under which the Group’s Bosheng Medical Materials Multi-Layer Co-Extruded Biomedical Film Production Workshop was selected.

According to reports, the selection and accreditation of smart manufacturing workshops in Jiangsu Province this time primarily focus on core operational functions such as production planning and scheduling, shop-floor operations, equipment management, and quality control. By deploying intelligent equipment and integrating relevant processes and software, the initiative has progressively upgraded workshop operations—from optimizing production plans and implementing online equipment monitoring and intelligent warehousing to enabling smart workshop scheduling, human–machine collaborative manufacturing, and predictive equipment fault diagnosis—resulting in improved production efficiency and reduced costs.
In recent years, Bosheng Medical Devices has consistently positioned itself at the forefront of a broad and dynamic market, conducting in-depth exploration and research in product R&D, manufacturing processes, and production equipment. Starting with production automation, facility consolidation, and low-carbon energy use, the company has continuously undertaken profound transformation and upgrading of its production lines. In the multi-layer co-extruded biomedical film production workshop, the comprehensive adoption of smart equipment has enabled real-time collection of product intelligence, digital management of the manufacturing process, and real-time analysis of procurement, inventory, material consumption, process parameters, and quality data, providing robust data support for decision-making. The implementation of this smart workshop initiative has significantly enhanced production efficiency, product quality, and safety while reducing production costs and energy consumption. Furthermore, seamless internal and external collaboration—enabled by the integration of the MES system with the industry-chain collaboration platform—has facilitated cross-departmental business coordination and unified operational control.
“Accelerating the intelligent transformation and digitalization of production lines is key to adapting to the development of the digital economy and enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises and their products,” said the head of Bosheng Medical Devices.
