Recently, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s sodium nafopine hydrochloride injection (2 mL: 20 mg) passed the National Medical Products Administration’s evaluation of generic drug quality and therapeutic equivalence, making the company the first in China to receive approval for this product under the evaluation program. This also marks the group’s 66th new-product approval so far this year.

According to available information, nefopam hydrochloride injection is a non-narcotic analgesic that also exhibits mild antipyretic and muscle-relaxant effects. It is primarily indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute pain, particularly postoperative pain.

To date, the Group has had 104 drug varieties comprising 137 product specifications either approved or deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation.
