On April 9, 2025, the highly anticipated CPHI Japan pharmaceutical ingredients exhibition was grandly held at the Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, drawing worldwide attention to the global pharmaceutical industry. As one of the backbone enterprises spanning the entire domestic pharmaceutical industry value chain, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group showcased its specialty API products and pharmaceutical packaging materials at the event.
According to reports, CPHI Japan is Japan’s largest and most authoritative pharmaceutical ingredients exhibition. Since its inception in 2002, it has served as an international, professional platform for exhibitors to gain insight into the latest global advances in pharmaceutical science and technology, showcase their cutting-edge products and technologies, share industry trends and market demands, and foster business collaboration and innovation, thereby establishing itself as one of the world’s leading trade fairs for pharmaceutical raw materials.
At this exhibition, the Group prominently showcased its bulk and specialty active pharmaceutical ingredients, including caffeine, azithromycin, aminophylline, theophylline, metronidazole, and nifedipine, covering both traditional core product lines and newly developed offerings in areas such as food additives, anti-infectives, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular therapies, gastrointestinal treatments, and neurological disorders. Thanks to its comprehensive product portfolio and robust international certifications that ensure quality, the Group’s API products attracted significant attention from professional visitors. During the event, both new and existing international customers from the Asia-Pacific region and Europe and North America visited the Group’s booth for discussions and exchanges, expressing their intent to deepen cooperation on API procurement.
As a subsidiary of the Group specializing in the R&D and production of pharmaceutical packaging materials, Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd. prominently showcased a range of products, including non-PVC multilayer co-extruded biocompatible films and infusion films, as well as butyl rubber stoppers. In response to the stringent global demands of the biopharmaceutical industry for packaging material safety, compatibility, and convenience, Bosheng Medical’s high-barrier pharmaceutical packaging—its multilayer co-extruded biocompatible film—has garnered significant interest from international customers. Leveraging its independently developed high-barrier technology and exceptional chemical stability, this product is ideally suited to meet the storage and administration requirements of high-end biologics such as antibody drugs and vaccines.
On the morning of the first day of the exhibition, the Group’s foreign trade team hosted more than 20 international clients and reached preliminary agreements on nearly 10 cooperation initiatives. “As the world’s third-largest pharmaceutical market, Japan places stringent demands on drug quality and supply-chain stability. This participation in the exhibition not only serves as a rigorous test of the Group’s technological capabilities but also represents a pivotal step in accelerating our integration into the Asia-Pacific pharmaceutical value chain,” said a spokesperson for the Group. Looking ahead, the Group will further strengthen its extensive collaboration with customers across the Asia-Pacific region, proactively enhance brand appeal and product influence, and continuously inject new momentum into the Group’s high-quality development.
