Recently, the fourth batch of Shijiazhuang City’s Leading Discipline Talents was officially announced. Following a comprehensive evaluation, a total of 26 candidates were selected as Shijiazhuang City’s Leading Discipline Talents, among whom Wei Saili, Deputy General Manager of the R&D Center and Director of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Division at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, was successfully named.

On April 22, Zhang Lisha, Director of the Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Talent Service Center, paid a special visit to the Group to present Wei Saili with a certificate, highly commending her achievements in biopharmaceutical R&D and offering enthusiastic encouragement. She expressed the hope that Wei would continue to serve as a role model for leading talent, consistently deliver innovative breakthroughs, and make even greater contributions to the development of Shijiazhuang’s biopharmaceutical industry.

Over the course of 12 years in scientific research, Wei Saili has remained closely aligned with national strategies and market demands, focusing on the synthesis, development, and industrialization of chemical active pharmaceutical ingredients. Leveraging multidisciplinary integration and an integrated “industry–academia–research–application” innovation mechanism, she has established a robust research and innovation system for enterprises. At the same time, she has strategically aligned innovation chains with industrial value chains, vigorously advancing the R&D of specialty APIs and resolving a series of critical technological bottlenecks. She has served as principal investigator or key participant in more than 10 provincial- and municipal-level research projects, received two Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Achievement Awards and two Shijiazhuang Municipal Science and Technology Awards, and obtained over 10 national patents. Individually, she has been recognized as a Young Top-Tier Talent in Hebei Province, selected as a technical expert in the Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Expert Database, appointed as the inaugural rotating chair of the Yan Zhao Women Craftsmen Biopharmaceutical Innovation Alliance, and honored with the Hebei May Day Labor Medal and the title of “One of the Ten Most Touching Figures in the Provincial Capital.”
