Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology officially released the list of “Advanced-Level Smart Factories” for 2025, and Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd. was successfully selected thanks to its outstanding innovative achievements in the field of intelligent manufacturing. This recognition not only underscores Bosheng Medical New Materials’ leading position in the industry in terms of digital transformation and intelligent upgrading, but also injects strong momentum into the company’s high-quality development.

According to reports, the designation of “Jiangsu Province Advanced-Level Smart Factories” is a key initiative by Jiangsu Province to advance the intelligent transformation and digitalization of its manufacturing sector. The goal is to establish industry benchmarks through rigorous evaluation standards and thereby drive high-quality development in manufacturing. This round of recognition focuses on industrial software integration, the application of smart equipment, and collaborative innovation across the industrial value chain, with policy incentives aimed at guiding enterprises toward higher-end, greener, and more integrated operations. The 2025 application process for Jiangsu Province Advanced-Level Smart Factories marks the first time it has been organized in accordance with the requirement to “establish a tiered cultivation system for smart factories,” under which enterprises are nurtured across four levels—basic, advanced, excellent, and leading—with priority given to companies that are “building peak capabilities and strengthening supply chains.” Advanced-Level Smart Factories are expected to achieve digitalization and networking, encompassing digitized R&D and design, precise control of key processes, and seamless integration of multi-stage management.

As a leading enterprise in the field, Bosheng Medical Devices has built an “Intelligent Factory for Medical Packaging Materials Based on Highly Efficient Automation,” which leverages next-generation IoT technologies. Centered on integrated production control and management, the factory has established an intelligent manufacturing management system with ERP as its core and MES as the central hub. By digitally transforming key processes—including production lines, equipment, and supply-chain management—the system fosters horizontal collaboration and end-to-end vertical integration, thereby significantly enhancing the efficiency of pharmaceutical packaging material production.
