On July 3, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s newly developed Class 3 chemical drug—acetaminophen granules—received production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration and is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation, making the company the first in China to obtain such approval for this product.
On July 3, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s newly developed Class 3 chemical drug—acetaminophen granules—received production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration and is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation, making the company the first in China to obtain such approval for this product.
To date, the Group has had a total of 136 drug varieties and 181 dosage forms either approved or deemed to have passed the Consistency Evaluation.
According to available information, acetaminophen granules are indicated for fever associated with common cold or influenza in children and for the relief of mild to moderate pain, including headache, joint pain, migraine, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, and dysmenorrhea.
Previously, the Group had already obtained approval for two product batches—acetaminophen-mannitol injection and acetaminophen tablets. The recent approval of acetaminophen granules further expands the product’s dosage forms, thereby meeting the medication needs of diverse patient populations.
