On July 22, the medical recombinant collagen lyophilized dressing developed by Hebei Hanlin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, obtained a medical device registration certificate, marking the company’s first approved medical lyophilized dressing.

According to available information, the medical recombinant collagen lyophilized dressing is available in three models—Type I, Type II, and Type III—and consists of two vials: Lyophilized Vial A and Solution Vial B. Vial A contains recombinant type III humanized collagen and trehalose, while Vial B contains sodium hyaluronate, sodium alginate, glycerin, methylparaben sodium, and purified water. By forming a protective layer on the wound surface, the dressing acts as a physical barrier and is indicated for the coverage of non-chronic wounds such as minor cuts, abrasions, and lacerations.
Both key active ingredients in this product—recombinant human-type III collagen and sodium hyaluronate—are of medical-device grade. The formulation is a lyophilized powder that can be reconstituted and used immediately, ensuring the preservation of the activity of the recombinant human-type III collagen.
Currently, Hanlin Biotechnology has received approval for seven medical dressing products: sodium hyaluronate wound dressings, sodium hyaluronate wound gel dressings, sodium hyaluronate liquid wound dressings, recombinant humanized collagen wound dressings, recombinant humanized collagen wound gel dressings, recombinant collagen liquid wound dressings, and recombinant collagen lyophilized dressings.
