More than 120 Party members and employee representatives from the headquarters of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group arrived early at the R&D Center Auditorium, eagerly awaiting the arrival of this solemn yet profoundly moving moment.
“This grand event is not only a vivid education in love for the Party and the country, but also a profound spiritual cleansing; we must draw strength to forge ahead from the great spirit of the War of Resistance.” According to staff from the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Group, in recent days, a broad swath of employees have been eagerly looking forward to watching the grand commemorative events marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. To ensure the smooth viewing of the commemorative conference, they have made meticulous arrangements for organizing live broadcasts at the group headquarters and all its subsidiaries.
General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xi Jinping delivered an important address; the resolute march of a mighty military force; the thunderous salutes that shook the heavens; and the awe-inspiring combat equipment—all proclaimed to the world the great truth that justice will prevail, peace will prevail, and the people will prevail. The workers present watched with rapt attention, deeply moved and profoundly impressed by General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech and the grand, majestic military parade. The broad ranks of workers were filled with surging emotions and responded with strong enthusiasm.
“The scene was truly awe-inspiring, uplifting, and galvanizing—stirring us to strive ever more vigorously. It enabled us to gain a deeper understanding of the tremendous power of the great spirit of the War of Resistance, to recognize that the Communist Party of China’s pivotal role was the key to the Chinese people’s victory in the War of Resistance, and to kindle from the depths of our hearts a profound sense of national pride and a strong sense of historical mission,” said employees of the group who watched the televised broadcast on site.
“The Chinese nation is a great people that fears no aggression and strives for self-reliance and strength. The General Secretary’s resolute and powerful remarks have continued to resonate in my heart,” said Wei Saili, a Model Worker of Hebei Province and Deputy General Manager of the Group’s R&D Center, visibly moved. “Remembering history and striving with unwavering determination are the finest expressions of carrying forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance. As a research professional, I am committed to diligent study and mastery of core technologies, leading our team to develop more and better ‘Chinese medicines’ and making greater contributions to the building of a Healthy China.”
