On November 12, the 93rd China International API, Intermediates, Packaging and Equipment Exhibition (API China) grandly opened in Chongqing, the enchanting “City of Mountains and Waters.” As the 14th Five-Year Plan draws to a close, the Group joined more than 1,200 leading enterprises from the API, intermediates, packaging, and equipment sectors in this vibrant mountain city, showcasing an extensive product portfolio that promises to deliver even greater surprises and excitement to upstream and downstream customers as well as industry professionals.

Upon entering the pharmaceutical raw materials pavilion, the group’s specially designed booth—featuring a striking blue-and-white color scheme and a modern, sophisticated aesthetic—immediately draws attention. At this exhibition, the group’s subsidiaries Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, Guolong Pharmaceutical, and Bosheng Medical Devices are jointly showcasing their offerings. Inside the booth, illuminated light boxes provide a vibrant display of the group’s extensive portfolio of active pharmaceutical ingredients and pharmaceutical packaging materials. This includes well-established, high-impact flagship products such as caffeine, azithromycin, theophylline, aminophylline, metronidazole, tinidazole, nifedipine, moxifloxacin hydrochloride, and hydroxyethyl starch, as well as promising, high-value specialty products like epalrestat, betahistine mesylate, lornoxicam, benidipine hydrochloride, fenofibrate, theophylline dihydrate, and the adrenaline series. Through a comprehensive presentation of both APIs and pharmaceutical packaging materials, the exhibit fully highlights the group’s robust capabilities in API and pharmaceutical packaging innovation and industrialization since the start of the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
The exhibition booth was bustling with visitors, and the consultation area was packed from end to end. Group leaders and business teams warmly welcomed clients from all sectors, engaging in in-depth discussions and exploring potential collaboration opportunities, creating a highly energetic atmosphere on site. To date, the Group’s portfolio of APIs has grown to 87, with an ever-expanding product lineup that continues to inject fresh momentum into the Company’s growth.
“The increasingly diversified API product portfolio not only creates opportunities for our own development but also opens up greater scope for collaboration among companies across the value chain. Guangxiang Pharmaceutical and Guolong Pharmaceutical have become affiliated suppliers to numerous domestic formulation manufacturers, steadily enhancing our industry influence,” said the group’s head. By continuously optimizing manufacturing processes, advancing green management across the entire value chain, and leveraging new technologies such as continuous-flow microreactors and enzyme catalysis—along with obtaining international certifications like the EU CEP—the group has consistently strengthened the competitiveness of its products. As a result, products such as caffeine, azithromycin, and aminophylline are now exported to more than 60 countries and regions worldwide.
As a leading player in China’s pharmaceutical packaging materials industry, Group Bosheng Medical Devices showcased a wide array of products—including coated rubber stoppers, film-coated rubber stoppers, rubber gaskets, plungers for pre-filled syringes, composite gaskets and plungers for pen-type injectors, multilayer co-extruded infusion films, UV color-printed films, multilayer co-extruded biopharmaceutical films, three-layer co-extruded infusion tubing, and PVC flexible tubing—each of which attracted considerable attention. Both new and existing customers eagerly approached to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges. According to a representative from Bosheng Medical Devices, the exhibition helps the company promptly grasp evolving industry trends and more accurately meet the needs of downstream segments in the value chain.
