To further broaden employment channels for graduates and more precisely align with the talent needs of enterprises, the School of Foreign Languages at Hebei Normal University recently invited representatives from the Human Resources and Strategic Development Center and the Formulation Export Trade Center of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group to engage in exchanges and discussions on strengthening university–enterprise cooperation and expanding employment opportunities for graduates. Huo Chenjing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages at Hebei Normal University, along with advisors for the undergraduate and graduate graduating classes and several student representatives, also took part in the symposium.
During the symposium, Huo Chenjing extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical, comprising representatives from its human resources and foreign trade departments, and provided a detailed overview of the college’s program offerings, distinctive educational features, talent-development initiatives, and employment outcomes. The head of the Group’s Human Resources Department then outlined the company’s development history, core business areas, international operations, and talent requirements. The university and the enterprise also engaged in pragmatic discussions on specific matters such as the establishment of internship bases and on-site teaching-and-research visits, expressing their shared aspiration to forge a long-term, in-depth collaboration that will provide a solid platform for internships and career placement for students majoring in foreign languages.
During interactive sessions with students, the Group’s HR and foreign trade leaders addressed their concerns one by one—ranging from career paths and compensation packages to development opportunities—thereby helping participants gain a deeper understanding of industry trends and talent needs in the pharmaceutical foreign trade sector and providing guidance for career planning and job search preparation.
“This exchange event precisely matched enterprises’ demand for foreign-trade talent, effectively helping universities and graduates gain a deeper understanding of industry development trends and broaden their career horizons, with notably positive results,” said a responsible official from the Group’s Human Resources Department. The official added that, moving forward, the Group will align its talent needs with its internationalization strategy, fully leverage the strengths of Hebei Normal University’s School of Foreign Languages in talent cultivation, further deepen university–enterprise cooperation and the integration of industry and education, and proactively provide robust talent support for the high-quality development of enterprises.
