The visit was accompanied by Tian Pengmei, Executive President of the Group and General Manager of the Strategic Development and Human Resources Center, as well as Li Bo, General Manager of the Preparations Foreign Trade Center.

The visit was accompanied by Tian Pengmei, Executive President of the Group and General Manager of the Strategic Development and Human Resources Center, as well as Li Bo, General Manager of the Preparations International Trade Center.
Qiu Jingli and her delegation conducted a field visit to the Group’s Pharmaceutical Research Institute and toured the R&D center’s laboratories. They listened carefully to briefings on the company’s efforts in innovative development, international operations, future planning, and talent cultivation, and commended the Group for the remarkable achievements it has attained in recent years by leveraging innovation as the driving force behind its accelerated move toward high-quality development.
During the symposium and exchange, Tian Pengmei extended a warm welcome to Qiu Jingli and her delegation. She noted that the Group’s international expansion is accelerating, with its foreign trade operations now spanning more than 100 countries and regions worldwide and its network of overseas partnerships steadily growing. As a result, the Group has emerged as one of the leading enterprises in the pharmaceutical export sector, creating valuable opportunities for deepening university–enterprise collaboration and promoting high-quality, export-oriented employment for talent. She expressed the hope that resource alignment with universities will be further strengthened, enabling the joint development of diverse educational and training initiatives as well as multi-faceted internship and practical training programs. Ultimately, the goal is to achieve mutual benefits for all stakeholders—enhancing students’ capabilities, optimizing university teaching, building a robust talent pool for enterprises, and meeting the needs of socio-economic development.
Qiu Jingli outlined the program offerings, talent-development objectives, and recent employment trends of the School of Foreign Languages at Hebei University of Economics and Business, with a particular focus on the school’s practical teaching achievements in areas such as cross-border business and pharmaceutical-text translation. She expressed her hope that both institutions will fully leverage their respective strengths to jointly establish a collaborative education model featuring “institutional education and training combined with enterprise-based practice,” accelerate the development of internship bases and “order-based” talent cultivation, facilitate students’ smooth transition from campus to the workplace, and further deepen and solidify the integration of industry and education.
During the interactive Q&A session, Tian Pengmei, Li Bo, and other experts addressed students’ concerns about career paths and professional development opportunities, helping them gain a deeper understanding of trends in the pharmaceutical foreign trade industry and employer needs. They provided guidance on career planning and job search preparation, while also sharing practical experience in areas such as business negotiations, multilingual translation of drug registration documents, and overseas client relationship management—lessons learned from expanding into international markets.
“This event precisely matched enterprises’ demand for foreign-trade–oriented language professionals, effectively helping universities and graduates gain a deeper understanding of the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry and broadening their career horizons,” said the Group’s Head of Human Resources Management. “Going forward, we will continue to deepen our targeted collaboration with specialized universities in line with the Group’s internationalization strategy, thereby providing robust talent support for the company’s high-quality development.”
