On December 20, the Seventh Congress of the Communist Party of China at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was successfully held in the Auditorium of the Group’s Research and Development Center.

This conference was held under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second, Third, and Fourth Plenary Sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee, carefully reviewed and summarized the work of the Party Committee over the past five years, and scientifically formulated the goals and key tasks for the next five years. The conference elected the new CPC Committee and the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

The atmosphere at the conference was vibrant and enthusiastic, as 100 Party member representatives from various Party branches, entrusted with the expectations and responsibilities of all Communist Party members and the broader workforce, came together to deliberate on the company’s development strategy and jointly chart a grand blueprint for its future.

The members of the Presidium took their seats on the rostrum, and Comrade Wei Wenliang presided over the session. At 9:00 a.m., the Seventh Congress of the CPC Committee of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was officially opened. All delegates rose to their feet as the rousing national anthem filled the hall.

Amid warm applause, Comrade Shi Jianhui delivered to the congress the Party Committee’s work report entitled “Party Building Leads the Way, Uniting Strengths to Forge Ahead and Write a Brilliant Chapter.” The report comprehensively reviewed the achievements and outcomes of the Party Committee’s work over the past five years from such perspectives as Party organization building, innovative development, talent pool development, corporate culture building, and the effective role of mass organizations. It also systematically summarized the vivid practices and valuable experiences through which, under the leadership of Party building, the enterprise has pooled its strengths for development and forged ahead with determination to write a glorious new chapter.

Shi Jianhui pointed out that over the past five years, the company’s Party Committee has fully leveraged its role in providing political leadership and ensuring political stability, held high the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, closely aligned itself with the primary task of high-quality development, and integrated the new development philosophy throughout the entire process of corporate development. Under the strong leadership of higher-level Party organizations and with the robust support of the Group’s Board of Directors and management team, the company has taken innovation-driven development as its guiding principle, deepened supply-side structural reform, fostered the development of new productive forces, advanced the integrated development of the “API–formulation–pharmaceutical packaging materials” industrial chain, and harnessed digital transformation to accelerate the commercialization of innovative achievements. As a result, the company has made solid strides in innovation, green development, and high-quality growth, laying a firm foundation for its steady and sustainable development.

Shi Jianhui emphasized that the next five years will be a pivotal period—laying a solid foundation, mounting all-out efforts, and serving as a crucial bridge between the past and the future—for the country to basically achieve socialist modernization. It will also be a critical phase for Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical to set new goals, seize new opportunities, and strive for higher-quality, more efficient, and more sustainable development. Guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and fully implementing the arrangements made at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the company’s Party Committee has, in line with the requirements of the 15th Five-Year Plan, firmly embraced the working principle of “focusing on the central task in conducting Party building and using sound Party building to promote development,” thereby comprehensively enhancing the political and organizational functions of Party organizations; deepened the strategy of Party leadership over talent management to build a high-ground for talent that underpins the enterprise’s high-quality development; and focused on innovation-driven growth, leveraging the new development philosophy to elevate the enterprise’s core competitiveness. All employees of the company will remain closely united around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, demonstrating a pioneering spirit, the courage to break new ground and innovate, and an unwavering determination to forge ahead, seizing opportunities, confronting challenges head-on, and striving to write a new chapter in the cause of Chinese-style modernization, thus contributing Sihua’s strength to the building of a Healthy China and to the high-quality development of Shijiazhuang’s biopharmaceutical industry.

Comrade Huang Xiaofeng delivered to the Congress a report on the work of the Commission for Discipline Inspection entitled “Strengthening Disciplinary Guarantees to Promote High-Quality Enterprise Development.” Comrade Zhang Hang presented a report on the collection and use of Party membership dues.

The Congress voted to adopt the work reports of the Party Committee and the Commission for Discipline Inspection, as well as the report on the collection and use of Party membership dues. In addition, it approved the rules for the election at the Congress, the list of candidates for membership, and the lists of poll watchers and vote counters.

Following thorough discussion and deliberation among the attending Party member representatives, a new cohort of members for the CPC Committee and the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was elected through a competitive election process using secret ballots.

Comrade Wu Hengyao, speaking on behalf of the new Party Committee, stated that, as we embark on this new journey, we will remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind; take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as our guiding principle; fully implement the arrangements made at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee; give full play to the Party organization’s core role in setting the direction, overseeing the overall situation, and ensuring effective implementation; steadfastly focus on the central task and serve the overall interests; promote the deep integration of Party building with production and operations; use high-quality Party building to lead the enterprise’s high-quality development; and effectively transform the Party’s political and organizational strengths into advantages for corporate development and competitive edge. He also called on all Party members and the broader workforce to unite as one, work hard together, and, with unwavering determination and a spirit of innovation, set new goals, strive to break new ground, and continuously elevate Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s high-quality development to new heights.

Subsequently, all delegates solemnly took an oath before the Party flag, reaffirming their Party membership vows, thereby engraving their original aspiration and mission in their hearts through resolute pledges and demonstrating their unwavering political consciousness to heed the Party’s words and follow its lead.

The conference calls on all to rally even more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, to work in unison and with unwavering determination, to pursue practical action and forge ahead with courage and resolve, to stay firmly committed to the goal of Chinese modernization, to focus on enhancing corporate innovation capacity and core competitiveness, to accelerate the development of a world-class pharmaceutical enterprise, and to make new contributions to the building of a Healthy China and to the high-quality development of Shijiazhuang’s biopharmaceutical industry.

The conference concluded successfully to the solemn strains of “The Internationale.”
