To deepen university–enterprise cooperation and promote the integration of industry and education, on January 28, a delegation led by Zhai Xin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, visited Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group for an exchange. During the visit, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening the construction of collaborative graduate training bases, deepening cooperation in basic scientific research, and accelerating the commercialization of technological achievements. Wu Hengyao, President of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group; Sun Lijie, Executive President and General Manager (Director) of the R&D Center (Pharmaceutical Research Institute); and Tian Pengmei, Executive President and General Manager of the Strategic Development and Human Resources Center, among others, attended the exchange activities.

Zhai Xin expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the warm hospitality and long-term support extended by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group. She outlined the remarkable achievements of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in areas such as discipline development, talent cultivation, and scientific research, with particular emphasis on the university’s distinctive strengths and advantages in fostering application-oriented, innovation-driven pharmaceutical professionals. She underscored that continuously deepening university–enterprise collaboration and promoting the integrated development of industry and education are urgent priorities for meeting the needs of building a modern industrial system and for advancing the holistic cultivation and development of innovative talent. She noted that the two institutions enjoy a solid foundation for cooperation, with their respective program offerings closely aligned with the enterprise’s development strategy, and expressed her hope that they will further expand the scope of their collaboration, elevate its level, and achieve complementary strengths and mutually beneficial outcomes.
Wu Hengyao extended a warm welcome to Vice President Zhai Xin and his delegation, and provided a detailed overview of the company’s proactive exploration and practical efforts in recent years to promote innovative development and deepen university–enterprise collaboration. He emphasized that Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has long maintained a close and highly productive partnership with Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, which boasts abundant talent resources and outstanding research achievements; many of its alumni have become the backbone of corporate technological innovation and industrial upgrading. Wu expressed his anticipation that, building on the existing cooperation, the two parties will further deepen the integration of industry and education by establishing closer and more comprehensive collaborative mechanisms in areas such as joint graduate training, collaborative research project development, and the efficient commercialization of technological成果, thereby jointly exploring new models of university–enterprise co-education and joint innovation and injecting fresh momentum into the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.
Sun Lijie stated that the Group is accelerating its pace of innovative development and transformation, will continue to deepen the establishment of an innovation consortium with Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, and will focus on elevating its innovation capabilities to better meet the demands of the new landscape in industrial development. Through further collaboration, the Group aims to achieve complementary strengths and synergistic development between the university and the enterprise, thereby jointly promoting the deep integration of industry and education and the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical industry.
During the symposium, representatives from the Graduate School of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University and the Group’s R&D Center (Drug Research Institute), Strategic Development Department, and Human Resources Center engaged in lively discussions on talent recruitment and development, industry–university–research collaboration, and other related topics, resulting in several positive cooperative outcomes.
Prior to the symposium and exchange, Vice President Zhai Xin and his delegation conducted a site visit to the Group’s R&D Center (Drug Research Institute), where they heard briefings on the Group’s achievements in technological innovation, market development, digital and intelligent transformation, talent cultivation, and future prospects. They commended the enterprise for its remarkable success in staying firmly focused on the core mission of high-quality development, continuously advancing transformation and upgrading, and achieving leapfrog growth.
