On March 27, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s applications for Class 3 chemical drugs—sodium lactate Ringer’s irrigation solution (3,000 ml) and bumetanide injection (2 ml: 1 mg)—were approved by the National Medical Products Administration for manufacturing registration and are deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation.

Diligence and pragmatism lead the way, and innovation ushers in spring ahead of schedule. On March 27, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s applications for Class 3 chemical drugs—sodium lactate Ringer’s irrigation solution (3,000 ml) and bumetanide injection (2 ml: 1 mg)—received production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration, and are deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation.

To date this year, the Group has received approval for a total of 16 new products, including 9 dosage-form products. In addition, a cumulative total of 173 drug varieties comprising 225 product specifications have either passed or been deemed to have passed the bioequivalence and therapeutic equivalence evaluation for generic drugs, marking a strong start to the year in research and development.

According to available information, sodium lactate Ringer’s irrigation solution is indicated for routine irrigation where the use of sterile electrolyte solutions is permitted; bumetanide injection is a diuretic that can be used to treat edematous conditions (such as congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis, and renal disease), hypertension, prevention of acute renal failure, hyperkalemia and hypercalcemia, and syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH), among others.
