【SUMMARY】 On March 21, the office of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received a letter of gratitude from the CPC Shennongjia Forestry District Committee and the Shennongjia Forestry District Government—both located thousands of miles away—as well as a certificate of donation from the Shennongjia Forestry District Charity Association, once again expressing their heartfelt appreciation for Shijiazhuang Sihua’s selfless support and assistance to the Shennongjia Forestry District during the pandemic.

On March 21, the office of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received a letter of gratitude from the CPC Shennongjia Forestry District Committee and the Shennongjia Forestry District Government—both located thousands of miles away—as well as a certificate of donation from the Shennongjia Forestry District Charity Association, once again expressing their heartfelt appreciation for Shijiazhuang Sihua’s selfless support and assistance to the Shennongjia Forestry District during the pandemic.

Following the State’s establishment of the pairing-assistance mechanism, the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce attached great importance to the matter, convened a special meeting to deliberate on pairing-assistance efforts for the Shennongjia Forestry District, and actively coordinated with and engaged relevant private enterprises to participate in the assistance program.

On the evening of February 12, Su Xuejun, Vice President of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., learned of the need for epidemic prevention and control supplies to be dispatched in support of the Shennongjia Forestry District in Hubei Province. He immediately coordinated with the provincial federation and the Shennongjia Forestry District Federation of Industry and Commerce to ascertain the specific requirements. Upon learning that designated hospitals in the forestry district were facing shortages of emergency medications, he personally arranged for the allocation of moxifloxacin hydrochloride sodium chloride injection from the company’s stockpile to be donated to the Shennongjia Forestry District, and also coordinated the donation of 2,000 boxes of arbidol capsules to the Hebei Zhongji Poverty Alleviation Foundation for distribution to the forestry district.

Following coordinated communication, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, in collaboration with the Hebei Zhongji Poverty Alleviation Foundation, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., jointly donated RMB 500,000 in cash and pharmaceuticals valued at another RMB 500,000—totaling RMB 1 million—to the Shennongjia Forestry District in Hubei Province to support local epidemic prevention and control efforts.
