【SUMMARY】 On November 6, the finals of the inaugural National-Level New Area, Economic Development Zone, and High-Tech Zone Team Leader Management Skills Competition, co-hosted by the China Development Zones Association and the Council of the National Forum on Trade Union Work in New Areas and Development Zones, were held at the Wenzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. The Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical team—comprising Fu Zhihui from Workshop 208 of the Group’s Manufacturing Center, Da Weiqiang and Fan Yanlong from the R&D Center, and Zhang Wenya from the Property Management Center—successfully advanced to the finals and went on to win the first-place team award. In addition, Da Weiqiang from the R&D Center and Fu Zhihui from Workshop 208 of the Manufacturing Center each received a second-place individual award, Zhang Wenya from the Property Management Center was awarded a third-place individual prize, and Fan Yanlong from the R&D Center was honored with an Outstanding Individual Award.

On November 6, the finals of the inaugural National-Level New Area, Economic Development Zone, and High-Tech Zone Team Leader Management Skills Competition, co-hosted by the China Development Zones Association and the Council of the National Forum on Trade Union Work in New Areas and Development Zones, were held at the Wenzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. After a three-day final round, the Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical team—comprising Fu Zhihui from Workshop 208 of the Group’s Manufacturing Center, Da Weiqiang and Fan Yanlong from the R&D Center, and Zhang Wenya from the Property Management Center—successfully advanced to the finals and went on to win the first-place team award. In addition, Da Weiqiang from the R&D Center and Fu Zhihui from Workshop 208 of the Manufacturing Center each received the second-place individual award, Zhang Wenya from the Property Management Center was awarded the third-place individual prize, and Fan Yanlong from the R&D Center was honored with the Outstanding Individual Award.

This competition is designed to cultivate a high-caliber, multi-skilled team of team leaders who excel in production, management, and business operations. It aims to enhance the comprehensive skills and on-site management capabilities of team leaders in enterprises located within national-level new areas, economic development zones, and high-tech zones, thereby fostering a cohort of outstanding team leader elites, strengthening the foundation of enterprise team management, and supporting the high-quality development of these national-level zones.

On August 25 this year, the competition held its launch ceremony in the Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. Designed to promote training through competition and use competition as a form of training, the event is divided into three stages: an online preliminary round, a semi-final round, and an offline final. A total of 46 development zones, more than 800 enterprises, and over 10,000 team leaders participated. Over the course of just over two months, participating employees devoted their spare time to carefully studying reference materials, attending both online and offline training sessions, completing challenge-based quizzes on the platform, and taking two rounds of online examinations—first the preliminary round leading to the semi-final, and then the semi-final leading to the final. The Group Trade Union has attached great importance to this initiative and actively encouraged a broad contingent of team leaders to participate in the skills competition, which has received enthusiastic support from all workshops and departments, with more than 100 team leaders registering to compete. After nearly two months of online rounds, four employees—Fu Zhihui, Da Weiqiang, Fan Yanlong, and Zhang Wenya—have successfully advanced to the finals.

According to reports, this competition marks the first nationwide, high-profile event aimed at enhancing the professional management skills of team leaders in the “three zones.” Leveraging the advantages of online platforms, the event places particular emphasis on the participants’ learning and development throughout the competition. Through video lectures and a series of challenge-based theoretical quizzes, team leaders have systematically acquired essential job-management skills. The competition focuses on the “team” as the most fundamental unit of enterprise management, guided by modern digital and intelligent management practices. It centers on key areas such as workplace safety, quality, cost control, production, equipment maintenance, environmental stewardship, human resources, artificial intelligence, and big-data applications, with a strong emphasis on foundational theoretical knowledge, hands-on operational skills, and effective management methodologies. This initiative is of great significance in cultivating talent capable of thriving in the new era and new industrial models, supporting industry transformation and upgrading, and accelerating innovation and development in the manufacturing sector.
