Recently, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was successfully selected as a pilot unit for the integrated development of advanced manufacturing and modern services at the national level. This makes it one of the 20 regional and 40 enterprise pilot units nationwide designated this year by the National Development and Reform Commission.
In 2019, 15 departments, including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Cyberspace Administration of China, jointly issued the “Opinions on Promoting the Deep Integration and Development of Advanced Manufacturing and Modern Services,” which explicitly set the goal that by 2025 a number of enterprises, platforms, and demonstration zones will be established that exhibit vigorous innovation, significant economic benefits, outstanding quality, and strong spillover effects in the deep integration of advanced manufacturing and modern services. It also calls for a gradual increase in enterprises’ investment in productive services, continuous improvement of the industrial ecosystem, and the consolidation of the integration of the two sectors as a key pillar for promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. This year, the National Development and Reform Commission has once again issued the “Notice on Continuing to Carry Out Pilot Work on the Integrated Development of Advanced Manufacturing and Modern Services,” selecting a second batch of pilot enterprises and regions to further promote the mutually reinforcing, coupled, and symbiotic development of advanced manufacturing and modern services.
