In the golden autumn of October, the School of Chemistry at Nankai University will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of its chemistry program. The school has extended special invitations to more than 50 distinguished alumni-owned enterprises and leading companies in the biochemical, environmental, materials, and pharmaceutical sectors, bringing with them over a thousand job openings to join this momentous occasion and attract top talent. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group will attend the alumni-only dual-recruitment fair marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of Nankai’s chemistry program, scheduled for October 15, providing Nankai students who are committed to serving the nation with a platform to showcase their abilities and pursue career growth.
Nankai University’s School of Chemistry boasts a long and distinguished history, tracing its origins to the Department of Chemistry within the Faculty of Science established at the university’s founding in 1919. Over the past century, it has thrived and remains vibrant and dynamic. Today, the school comprises two departments—the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Chemical Biology—three research institutes—the Institute of Organoelement Chemistry, the Institute of Polymer Chemistry, and the Institute of Applied Chemistry and Engineering—and two research centers—the Center for Analytical Sciences and the National Engineering Research Center for Pesticides. The discipline of chemistry has been included in the “Double First-Class” initiative, enabling the establishment of a comprehensive disciplinary structure, a faculty renowned for its talent and expertise, and high-level teaching and research platforms. As a result, the school has become a nationally and internationally influential hub for chemical education and research, annually graduating more than a thousand specialized undergraduates, master’s students, and doctoral candidates who go on to contribute to the nation and society.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group has pursued high-quality corporate development through innovation-driven growth.
