On October 19, Ma Yujun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shijiazhuang, conducted a field inspection in Gaocheng District, accompanied by Wang Jinshan, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Shijiazhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone and Secretary of the Gaocheng District CPC Committee, and Cai Yunlong, Deputy Secretary of the District CPC Committee and District Mayor. During the visit, he toured enterprises such as Guolong Pharmaceutical Group and an agricultural science and technology park to gain first-hand insights into industrial development. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, further emancipate our minds, strengthen our sense of responsibility, work diligently and with unwavering determination, firmly establish a pioneering mindset, accelerate efforts to address functional shortcomings, and strive to take the lead citywide in promoting high-quality development.

Ma Yujun first visited the site of the Guolong Pharmaceutical specialty API and novel formulation project at Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Group, where he listened carefully to Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Group, on the company’s project construction, drug R&D, and production. He encouraged the company to continuously increase its R&D investment and new-product development efforts, thereby enhancing its technological innovation capabilities and competitiveness.

At the subsequent symposium, Ma Yujun listened to briefings on the economic and social development of Gaocheng District and other related matters. He emphasized that studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China must be made the top political priority for the present and the period ahead. With a sense of urgency and responsibility—driven by the conviction that we cannot afford to sit idly by, wait passively, or move too slowly—we must translate our political enthusiasm for studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress into a powerful driving force for promoting high-quality economic and social development, and ensure that the spirit of the 20th National Congress takes root, flourishes, and bears fruit in our city through concrete actions and tangible results.

Ma Yujun emphasized that, over the years, Gaocheng District has maintained a clear development vision and strong momentum, with rapid and continuous transformation. The cadre team is united and highly motivated, work is carried out in a well-organized and systematic manner, epidemic prevention and control is being managed steadily and in an orderly fashion, and significant achievements have been made in economic and social development. With a solid industrial foundation and robust industrial strength, Gaocheng District must effectively translate these favorable conditions—its strong industrial base and advantageous geographic location—into a powerful driving force for advancing economic and social development. It is essential to strengthen accountability, courageously assume responsibilities, and play an even greater and more impactful role, thereby building up new momentum for future development.
