Among them, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was selected as a provincial demonstration enterprise for international science and technology cooperation.
Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has been recognized as a provincial demonstration enterprise for international scientific and technological cooperation, marking significant progress in the company’s innovation and internationalization efforts. In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua has aligned its innovation chain with the industrial value chain and actively advanced its “formulation-plus-active-pharmaceutical-ingredient” development strategy. By strengthening collaboration with overseas research institutions, the company has accelerated the development of novel formulations, specialty formulations, and innovative drugs, substantially elevating its level of innovation-driven internationalization. This has effectively facilitated the optimization and transformation of its product portfolio, while continuous advancements in science and technology have provided new momentum for the company’s high-quality development.
In recent years, Hebei Province has taken the strengthening of international science and technology cooperation platforms as a key initiative to elevate the province’s level of open innovation and its capacity to connect with global innovation resources. Focusing on the objectives of “building platforms, expanding channels, pooling resources, and enhancing capabilities,” the province has guided parks, enterprises, universities, research institutions, and other entities to broaden their international cooperation channels, deepen international scientific and technological collaboration and exchange, and pursue both “bringing in” and “going out” strategies. As a result, Hebei has played a proactive role in setting examples and providing leadership at the regional and industry levels, thereby effectively enhancing its capacity for scientific and technological innovation and its international competitiveness.
According to reports, the newly recognized provincial-level international science and technology cooperation bases include 12 international joint research centers (including one overseas center), 2 international technology transfer centers, and 16 demonstration enterprises for international science and technology cooperation. To date, Hebei Province has established a total of 291 international science and technology cooperation bases at or above the provincial level, placing it among the top provinces nationwide in terms of quantity. These collaborations span more than 20 countries in Europe, North America, and Belt and Road Initiative partner nations, including Germany, the United Kingdom, and Japan, and cover over 10 technological fields such as advanced manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and health, biotechnology, and new materials. The newly designated provincial-level international science and technology cooperation bases further expand the scale of Hebei’s international science and technology cooperation network.
