Recently, the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the 2022 List of Quality Benchmarks for Industrial Enterprises in Hebei Province. Following a rigorous process that included enterprise applications, local recommendations, expert reviews, deliberations, and public announcement on the department’s website, the Group’s Guolong Pharmaceutical was recognized as a 2022 Quality Benchmark for Industrial Enterprises in Hebei Province for its proven best practices in comprehensive quality management based on green manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Following a rigorous process that included enterprise applications, local recommendations, expert reviews, deliberations, and public announcement on the department’s website, the comprehensive quality management approach based on green manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients—submitted by Guolong Pharmaceutical Group—was recognized as a 2022 Quality Benchmark for Industrial Enterprises in Hebei Province.
The experience of Guolong Pharmaceutical in implementing a total quality management approach for green API manufacturing is centered on the goal of green API production. By aligning this objective with the company’s specific operational context, the firm integrates green principles into its total quality management system and adopts a comprehensive TQM framework tailored to green API manufacturing. This enables the establishment of a green development model for the API industry, characterized by green design, green production, green testing, continuous improvement, and robust environmental protection measures. The ultimate aim is to ensure that API products not only meet the green requirements of downstream formulation customers but also contribute to environmental protection, thereby supporting the enterprise in achieving innovative, green, high-quality development.
In recent years, Guolong Pharmaceutical Group has leveraged a suite of R&D and innovation platforms—including the provincial-level Class-A R&D institution for industrial enterprises, the Shijiazhuang Municipal Enterprise Technology Center, and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Innovation Center for Physical and Chemical Property Technologies of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients—to forge close links among industry, academia, research, and application.
