On May 30, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s Class 4 chemical drug—tedizolid phosphate for injection (200 mg)—received approval for drug production registration from the National Medical Products Administration and is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation. This marks the group’s 28th new product approved this year.
On May 30, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s Class 4 chemical drug—tedizolid phosphate for injection (200 mg)—received approval for drug manufacturing registration from the National Medical Products Administration and is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation. This marks the group’s 28th new product approved this year.
According to reports, the newly approved injectable tedizolid phosphate is a lyophilized powder for injection and is primarily indicated for the treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin-structure infections (ABSSSI).
Previously, the group’s application for the active pharmaceutical ingredient of tedizolid phosphate was approved by the National Medical Products Administration on April 7 this year, with the substance registered as an API used in marketed dosage forms. The recent approval of injectable tedizolid phosphate (200 mg) will positively contribute to the group’s efforts to further advance the implementation of its “API-plus-formulation” strategy.
