On June 29, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s application for a 15-mL concentrated solution for injection of tirofiban hydrochloride was approved by the National Medical Products Administration, and the product is deemed to have passed the evaluation of quality and therapeutic equivalence for generic drugs. This marks the 34th new product approved for the group so far this year.

This marks the 34th new product approved for the group so far this year.
According to reports, tirofiban hydrochloride concentrated solution for injection is an antiplatelet agent indicated in adults with non–ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS) who experience their last episode of chest pain within 12 hours and exhibit ECG changes and/or elevated cardiac enzymes, for the prevention of early myocardial infarction.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group has cultivated fertile ground for technological innovation, resulting in a flourishing array of innovative achievements. To date, 51 drug varieties encompassing 67 dosage forms have either passed the National Evaluation of Quality and Therapeutic Equivalence for Generic Drugs or are deemed to have met the requirements of such evaluation.
