Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Factory: The Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Group Basketball Tournament Officially Kicks Off

“Great shot!” “Come on!”—At around 9:00 a.m. on October 21, the basketball court in front of the garden plaza at the newly built upright soft-bag infusion workshop of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s New-Formulation and Biopharmaceutical Industrial Park in the Economic Development Zone resounded with waves of cheers and shouts. Spectators on site were visibly excited as they cheered on the players, and the game was in full swing.
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the company’s founding and to showcase the positive, united, and enterprising spirit of Shisiyao employees, Shijiazhuang Four Pharmaceutical Group has organized the “Shisiyao Cup” Basketball Tournament. A total of nearly 100 employees from eight representative teams representing various centers and business units are taking part. The tournament will be held in a round-robin format and is scheduled to continue until mid-November.
“It is our hope that this competition will strengthen team cohesion, foster a fearless and enterprising spirit, cultivate a vibrant and upward-looking work environment, and ignite the passion of all employees to strive for excellence and achieve success in their respective roles.” At the opening ceremony of the basketball tournament, Group President Wu Hengyao delivered an enthusiastic address, encouraging all employees to approach their daily work with better health and unwavering enthusiasm, thereby contributing their wisdom and strength to building a century-old, robust enterprise and advancing the Group’s innovative, high-quality development.
Shi Jianhui, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group, tipped off the basketball game. As the ball soared into the air, the court erupted in excitement. Players executed swift, agile passes, with frequent steals, follow-up shots, rapid counterattacks, and intense battles for rebounds—each moment brimming with flair. With high spirits and superb skills coupled with seamless teamwork, the players showcased the allure of basketball while embodying the Shisiyao team’s relentless drive to excel and strive for excellence. Han Shuqin, Executive President of the Group, Huang Xiaofeng, Chairman of the Trade Union, and other leaders joined employees in cheering on the teams.
The excitement of the match extends far beyond the field: in addition to the intense competition between the players, the cheerleading squads add a vibrant splash of color. Eight fitness-and-cheerleading teams—each representing a different center or business unit—marched onto the field one after another, delivering passionate performances that ignited the crowd and pumped up the athletes with unwavering support. In addition, 75th-anniversary factory-themed face stickers and handheld signs also drew many attending employees to take photos and check in.
According to reports, the “Shisiyao Cup” basketball tournament has officially sounded the first note in a series of cultural and sports events celebrating the 75th anniversary of the company’s founding, with more diverse activities—including fitness aerobics competitions and tug-of-war contests—set to follow.
