Recently, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s application for Class 3 chemical drug—salbutamol sulfate injection, 1 mL: 0.5 mg (calculated on the basis of C₁₃H₂₁NO₃)—was approved by the National Medical Products Administration for drug production registration and is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation. This marks the 51st new-product approval the group has received this year, underscoring its consistently leading R&D efficiency within the industry.

According to reports, salbutamol sulfate injection is used to treat respiratory diseases accompanied by bronchospasm, such as bronchial asthma and asthmatic bronchitis.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has focused on building an integrated “API–finished dosage form” development advantage. Previously developed APIs—salbutamol sulfate and levalbuterol hydrochloride—have successively received approval from the National Medical Products Administration and have been registered as APIs used in marketed finished dosage forms. The recent approval of salbutamol sulfate injection further enriches the company’s product pipeline.
To date, the group has developed 60 product varieties encompassing 78 specifications through consistent product development, thereby playing a positive role in optimizing the product portfolio and better meeting the health needs of the public.
