Recently, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group has achieved a series of breakthroughs in research and development innovation: its application for metoprolol tartrate injection (5 mL) has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration, having passed the evaluation of quality and therapeutic equivalence for generic drugs. The group is now the third domestic pharmaceutical company to successfully pass this consistency evaluation for this product.
Recently, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group has achieved a series of breakthroughs in research and development innovation: its application for metoprolol tartrate injection (5 mL) has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration, having successfully passed the evaluation of quality and therapeutic equivalence for generic drugs. The group is now the third domestic pharmaceutical company to obtain such an approval for this product.
According to reports, metoprolol tartrate injection is primarily indicated for the treatment of rapid arrhythmias, as well as for the prevention and management of rapid arrhythmias and chest pain associated with acute myocardial infarction.
The approval of metoprolol tartrate injection has created greater scope for meeting diversified market demands and further leveraging our market strengths, while also providing patients with more treatment options. To date, the Group has achieved consistency evaluation—or is deemed to have done so—for a total of 63 drug varieties encompassing 82 dosage forms and specifications.
