On November 22, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group once again achieved a significant milestone in R&D and innovation: its application for Tirofiban Hydrochloride Sodium Chloride Injection (100 mL) has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration, having successfully passed the evaluation of quality and therapeutic equivalence for generic drugs—thus presenting a special “birthday gift” to mark the group’s 75th anniversary.
On November 22, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group once again achieved a significant milestone in R&D innovation: its application for Tirofiban Hydrochloride and Sodium Chloride Injection (100 mL) has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration, having successfully passed the evaluation of quality and therapeutic equivalence for generic drugs—thus presenting a special “birthday gift” to mark the group’s 75th anniversary.
According to reports, tirofiban hydrochloride sodium chloride injection is primarily indicated for adult patients with non–ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS) who experience their last episode of chest pain within 12 hours and exhibit ECG changes and/or elevated cardiac enzymes, with the aim of preventing early myocardial infarction. It is also used in patients with acute myocardial infarction (STEMI) who are scheduled for primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) to reduce the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has focused on addressing urgent clinical needs by accelerating the research, development, and market launch of high-quality, domestically produced innovative drugs, ensuring that more pharmaceutical innovations are translated into real-world applications and brought to market. This effort aims to make more affordable, high-quality domestic medicines accessible to the public and to contribute Shijiazhuang Sihua’s share to the building of a Healthy China. To date, the group has achieved consistency evaluation—or is deemed to have passed such evaluation—for a total of 66 drug varieties encompassing 86 dosage forms, maintaining a leading position in the industry for generic drug consistency evaluation.
