On January 16, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group received approval on the same day for two drug products—Class 3 magnesium sulfate injection (20 mL: 10 g, 10 mL: 5 g, and 2 mL: 1 g) and Class 4 vortioxetine hydrobromide tablets (10 mg)—covering a total of four dosage forms. The company was granted drug manufacturing registration approvals from the National Medical Products Administration, which are deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation.

The company was granted drug production registration approvals from the National Medical Products Administration, which are deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation.
Since the beginning of the year, the group has had five products across eight specifications approved.
According to available information, magnesium sulfate injection can be used as an anticonvulsant for gestational hypertension to lower blood pressure and treat preeclampsia and eclampsia. Vortioxetine hydrobromide tablets are indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults.
