He added that, under the leadership of the municipal Party Committee and the municipal government, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group will collaborate closely with Peking University to accelerate the innovative, high-quality development of Shijiazhuang’s biopharmaceutical industry.

Sun Lijie stated that Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group will take this signing as an opportunity to forge close collaboration with Peking University in areas such as talent exchange and product R&D. Moving forward, the group will also invite renowned professors and mentors from Peking University to provide on-site guidance, and the two parties will jointly undertake a series of research projects focused on innovative drugs, high-end generic drugs, and advanced pharmaceutical excipients.
According to available information, the Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Research Institute focuses on the development of complex generic drugs, as well as the research and development of innovative drugs, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and pharmaceutical packaging materials. To date, it has established close collaborations with renowned universities and research institutions, including Zhejiang University, China Pharmaceutical University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Hebei University, Hebei Medical University, and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Speaking about future cooperation with Peking University, Sun Lijie stated: “We hope to leverage Peking University’s research capabilities to engage in close collaboration on innovative drugs, complex formulations, excipients used in high-end formulations, and other related areas. By achieving breakthroughs in key technologies, we aim to facilitate the translation and application of more scientific and technological achievements in Shijiazhuang.”
