【SUMMARY】 In accordance with the requirements set forth in the operational work report adopted by the Employees’ Congress and the work plans of the Group Party Committee and the Trade Union, the Group has designated 2024 as the “Year of Quality Enhancement.” Recently, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group made arrangements and deployments for the in-depth implementation of the “2024 Year of Quality Enhancement” initiative.

In accordance with the requirements set forth in the operational work report adopted at the Trade Union Congress and the work plans of the Group Party Committee and the Trade Union, the Group has designated 2024 as the “Year of Quality Enhancement.” Recently, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group made arrangements and deployments for the in-depth implementation of the “2024 Year of Quality Enhancement” campaign.

The theme of the 2024 Quality Enhancement Year campaign is: “Innovation Leads, Continuous Excellence; Winning Through Quality, Forging Brilliance.” The campaign will be closely aligned with the key priorities of quality management—“adhering to quality-driven customer care and ensuring robust accountability; refining the quality management system and pursuing continuous improvement”—while maintaining a grassroots-oriented approach, strengthening foundational work at the operational level, fostering a “zero-defect” quality mindset, and vigorously cultivating a strong organizational culture in which all employees prioritize quality. It will also deepen the fundamental management of the production quality system, comprehensively enhance the intrinsic quality of the enterprise, proactively mitigate quality risks and prevent quality incidents, and, through superior product quality and service, ensure the Group’s innovative, high-quality development proceeds steadily and sustainably.

“In 2023, the Group was honored as a National Quality Benchmark—this recognition is not only a source of pride but also a powerful incentive to sustain our excellence. Maintaining this distinction and advancing comprehensive quality management require unwavering commitment and relentless effort,” said a representative from the Group’s Quality Management Center. The 2024 Quality Improvement Year initiative will leverage a variety of initiatives—including establishing quality-management innovation studios, organizing professional-skill competitions, and delivering practical training on quality regulations—to vigorously foster a corporate culture that values quality, embed quality standards deeply in the minds of employees, and ensure that these principles guide both production and management practices.

According to available information, this year’s Quality Improvement Initiative primarily focuses on strengthening the quality management system and enhancing oversight of production processes, quality inspection, material management, and production quality management. With regard to bolstering the quality management system, the company will continuously refine its various quality management policies and regulations, advance the digitalization of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Document Management System (DMS), and place particular emphasis on conducting PDCA-cycle-based performance evaluations for key quality assurance elements such as deviations, changes, and market feedback. In addition, a company-wide initiative will be launched to solicit innovative and rationalized suggestions for quality management improvements. To strengthen oversight of production processes, the company will organize professional training for on-site supervisors and conduct quality assessments of on-site supervision. In terms of quality inspection, the company will leverage the “Xuanxing” platform for training and learning to enhance inspectors’ technical skills and overall competence, while also rolling out a series of initiatives, including the selection of “G-Duoxing” and “Computer System Operation Experts,” as well as evaluations of inspection skills. Regarding material management, a comprehensive “health check” will be conducted on raw and auxiliary material suppliers. As for production quality management, the company will provide knowledge-training programs on essential job-related competencies for all production positions and select “Smart Stars” at each post; moreover, skill competitions and contests will be held in key areas such as infusion formulation, oral dosage form manufacturing, packaging-material production, and active pharmaceutical ingredient production.

According to the person in charge of the initiative, the key to thoroughly advancing the quality-improvement campaign lies in effective implementation and tangible results. Moving forward, it is essential to strengthen organizational leadership across the board, focus on practical aspects of quality management, address weaknesses, reinforce areas of deficiency, and elevate overall quality. At the same time, we must fully mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of all employees to actively participate in the quality-improvement effort. With a “start with a sprint” mindset, we will continuously deepen and expand this campaign, thereby supporting the successful completion of the year’s business objectives and targets and presenting new achievements in quality-driven enterprise development as a tribute to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
