On May 22, Fumaric Acid Formoterol, a specialty active pharmaceutical ingredient submitted by Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, was approved by the National Medical Products Administration and registered as an API for use in marketed dosage forms. This follows yesterday’s approval of Rasagiline Mesylate Tablets, marking another new-product approval for the group. To date this year, the group has secured a total of 32 approvals for various new products.
