Recently, the 2019 China Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs, Scientists, and Investors Conference, together with the Exhibition on the Achievements of Pharmaceutical Industry Development in the 70 Years Since the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, opened at Yanqi Lake in Beijing. During the event, enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the pharmaceutical industry were commended, and the “Top 20 Most Competitive Listed Pharmaceutical Companies in China” ranking was unveiled. Shisi Pharmaceutical Group stood out among more than 300 pharmaceutical companies to make the list, securing 15th place and earning widespread recognition for its strength. In the concurrently released Honor Roll of Outstanding Enterprises in the Pharmaceutical Industry Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, Shisi Pharmaceutical was awarded the title of “Benchmark Enterprise.”

According to reports, since 2009 the “Top 20 Ranking of Competitive Chinese Listed Pharmaceutical Companies” has been held consecutively for 11 sessions. The ranking has earned widespread recognition from both the industry and capital markets, becoming an annual event that draws significant attention across the sector. The evaluation is conducted based on the theoretical framework of the ECIRM model, which encompasses five dimensions: industry, management, capital, resources, and managerial capabilities. To be considered for the ranking, candidate companies must meet the following basic criteria: as of December 31, 2018, they must have been listed on major domestic or overseas stock exchanges for at least one year; they must be registered in China or conduct their principal business in China; their annual revenue must exceed RMB 100 million; and they must maintain a solid reputation.
The competitive edge of pharmaceutical enterprises is primarily manifested in two key areas: R&D innovation and marketing excellence. The Group has established a National Enterprise Technology Center, a National–Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Quality Control of Chemical Injection Preparations, a Workstation of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, an International Nobel Laureate Research Workstation, an Engineering Research Center for Large-Volume Injectable Preparations, and an Engineering Research Center for Injectable Drug Delivery Systems. Leveraging these high-level innovation platforms, the Group has successively developed a portfolio of formulation products with strong market potential, including Arbidol Hydrochloride Capsules, Moxifloxacin Injection, Sodium Acetate Ringer’s Injection, Lactate Gatifloxacin Glucose (Sodium Chloride) Injection, Lactate Levofloxacin Injection, and Ambroxol Hydrochloride Glucose Injection.
