This has enabled the Group to establish a uniquely distinctive product-chain layout and new competitive advantages in the industry. In 2023, the Group’s accumulated R&D achievements finally came to fruition, with a seamless integration of breakthroughs into a cohesive value chain: a total of 88 new-product approvals were obtained, and the Group maintained its leading position nationwide among pharmaceutical manufacturers in both the efficiency and volume of generic-drug R&D. These accomplishments have provided robust momentum for market competition and enhanced product accessibility, while also driving a significant leap forward in the Group’s industry influence and competitiveness.

According to reports, in 2018 the General Office of the Hebei Provincial People’s Government issued the “Reform Plan for the Science and Technology Awards System of Hebei Province,” which, for the first time, introduced a new category—the “Enterprise Technological Innovation Award”—within the Science and Technology Progress Award. This change marked a departure from the previous practice of conferring the award solely on individual projects and their principal contributors. The initiative aims to further stimulate and enhance the enthusiasm and confidence of innovation-driven entities in accelerating innovative development and achieving high-quality growth by recognizing enterprises that have achieved remarkable results in building innovation systems and strengthening innovation capabilities.
