On September 24, the Pharmaceutical Testing Skills Competition of the 2024 Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Workers’ Skills Contest kicked off at Hebei Vocational College of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology. Following a day-long competition on the same stage, Guo Congcong from the Injection Products Testing Department of the Quality Management Center and Sun Zhuoyan from the Comprehensive Testing Department, both representing Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, respectively won second and third prizes in the contest.
On September 24, the Pharmaceutical Testing Skills Competition of the 2024 Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Workers’ Skills Contest kicked off at Hebei Vocational College of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology. After a day of intense competition on the same stage, Guo Congcong from the Injection Products Testing Department of the Quality Management Center and Sun Zhuoyan from the Comprehensive Testing Department, both representing Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, respectively won second and third prizes in the contest.
Zheng Yuguang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Hebei Vocational College of Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy; Li Hailiang, Second-Level Researcher at the Shijiazhuang Municipal Federation of Trade Unions; and Xu Tongsun, Chairman of the Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions, attended the opening ceremony of the competition.
According to reports, this competition is organized by the Trade Union of the Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone and hosted by Hebei Vocational College of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology. A total of 30 contestants from 11 enterprises, including Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, Yiling Pharmaceutical, and Huapu Shijiazhuang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., are taking part. The competition consists of two parts: theoretical knowledge and practical skills, with theoretical scores accounting for 30% and practical scores for 70%. The assessment focuses on pharmaceutical production, drug inspection and testing, pharmaceutical quality management, and pharmaceutical safety risk control, evaluating contestants’ theoretical knowledge, professional skills, and occupational competence.
During the practical assessment, participants’ skills in sample preparation, sample pretreatment, and the application of routine testing methods—both chemical and instrumental—as well as their proficiency in operating common analytical instruments and in data processing and result analysis, were comprehensively evaluated through a quality analysis of acetaminophen tablets. The contestants demonstrated focused concentration and exceptional technical expertise, highlighting the high level of professional competence and overall quality of employees in the biopharmaceutical industry in the High-tech Zone.
The head of the Group Trade Union stated that participation in this pharmaceutical testing skills competition represents another comprehensive assessment of the Group’s efforts to strengthen its pharmaceutical testing capabilities. Moving forward, the Group will leverage the competition to promote learning, training, and practical application, continuously enhancing the professional skills and overall competence of its pharmaceutical testing workforce, thereby ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products and delivering more solid and efficient support for the Healthy China initiative and the enterprise’s high-quality development.
