On the afternoon of September 20, the Trade Union of Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone held a cultural and artistic gala for employees, bringing together more than 400 model workers, skilled artisans, and frontline staff from all sectors across the zone to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
On the afternoon of September 20, the Trade Union of Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone held a cultural and artistic gala for employees, bringing together more than 400 model workers, skilled artisans, and frontline staff from all sectors across the zone to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
The gala kicked off with the majestic dance “Ode to the Red Flag,” followed by a succession of stirring songs—including “Me and My Motherland,” “Walking Together in a Happy China,” “I Love You, China,” and “The Red Flag Flies High”—all celebrating deep love for and heartfelt blessings upon the motherland. The entire performance was marked by an exuberant atmosphere that inspired and uplifted the audience.
The women’s solo “I Love You, China,” performed by a contestant selected by the Trade Union of Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical, conveyed with fervent passion and beautiful vocals the ardent aspirations of employees in the pharmaceutical industry to forge ahead on a new journey and make outstanding contributions in the new era, earning round after round of applause from the audience.
According to reports, during the preparation for this gala, program submissions were solicited from grassroots trade unions across the district. Following a rigorous selection and arrangement process, 17 performances were ultimately chosen, encompassing a diverse range of artistic forms such as dance, choral singing, solo singing, rhythmic storytelling with clappers, and song-and-dance routines.
