On October 8, the 2024 CPHI Milan European Exhibition for Pharmaceutical Raw Materials was held at the Milan International Fairgrounds in Italy. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group showcased its key products—including active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms—as well as new offerings at the event.
According to available information, CPHI is a specialized trade fair in the international pharmaceutical raw materials and intermediates sector and a renowned brand exhibition in this field. Held annually on a rotating basis in Germany, France, and Spain, it forms part of a globally distributed platform for professional exhibitions and showcases in the pharmaceutical industry. As one of the world’s most concentrated and highly attended specialized exhibitions for pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, finished dosage forms, and innovative drugs, European CPHI covers the entire pharmaceutical value chain, providing global biopharmaceutical companies with a professional, international, and high-end forum for exchange and collaboration, while fostering the sustained development of the global pharmaceutical industry and the advancement of international business partnerships.
At the exhibition, the Group’s booth features a sleek, open design in blue-and-white tones with three sides fully open, conveying an image of openness, inclusiveness, and win-win cooperation. The display panels highlight the Group’s integrated “API + formulation” development achievements, showcasing both time-tested flagship APIs—such as caffeine, azithromycin, and metronidazole—known for their high quality and strong market reputation, as well as more than 60 new specialty API varieties and a wide array of export-oriented formulations. This diverse product portfolio has drawn keen attention from international business visitors.
In the negotiation area, the Group’s API and formulation business teams engaged in active discussions with both new and existing international customers on cooperation and development. “By leveraging the trade fair, we have further strengthened our business relationships with existing international partners and proactively explored new business opportunities. During the event, we held business talks with more than 30 international clients and secured multiple export orders for APIs such as caffeine and azithromycin,” said the head of the Group’s API Foreign Trade Center. The center added that it will continue to intensify its efforts to expand into international markets, providing high-quality product supply and services to an increasing number of global pharmaceutical companies.
