Recently, the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology released the 2024 list of “chain-based” enterprises for digital transformation among small and medium-sized enterprises in Shijiazhuang, with four companies—including Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.—successfully making the cut.
According to available information, “chain-linked” enterprises in Shijiazhuang’s pilot program for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises refer to leading and platform enterprises in four pilot sectors—biopharmaceutical manufacturing, next-generation electronic information manufacturing, advanced specialized equipment manufacturing, and modern food manufacturing—that demonstrate a chain-driven effect on the digital transformation of SMEs. These enterprises occupy a core or dominant position within the digital transformation value chain and supply chain system, effectively catalyzing the coordinated advancement of digital transformation across the entire upstream–downstream industrial chain and enhancing the overall competitiveness of the industry.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has placed great emphasis on digital transformation. Aligning with the company’s development needs, it has actively launched the “AI+” initiative, systematically deploying and refining end-to-end information management systems covering production, quality, R&D, operations, and management. By introducing state-of-the-art intelligent manufacturing and R&D equipment and facilities, the company has not only accelerated its own digital transformation but also effectively fostered collaborative digital development across the upstream and downstream segments of the industry chain. This has enabled the establishment of a rapid market-response mechanism among supply-chain partners, further shortening supply cycles, reducing operational costs, and enhancing the quality of products and services.
“By building an intelligent, integrated production–supply–sales collaboration system through digital transformation, the company has achieved data sharing and efficient coordination across all business processes,” said a company official. “Through demonstration projects and technology-driven empowerment, we have spurred digital and collaborative upgrades among numerous upstream and downstream suppliers in the industrial chain, significantly enhancing information-sharing capabilities and flexible manufacturing capacity.” Looking ahead, the company will aim to establish a “Lighthouse Factory,” leverage the chain-like impact of digital transformation on enterprises, and continue advancing its digital transformation journey. By adopting “Internet Plus” thinking and approaches, the company will further expand the scope and depth of its digital enablement efforts, thereby continuously improving production efficiency, product quality, and supply responsiveness, and driving its evolution toward higher-end, smarter, and greener operations.
