Lornoxicam API Approved by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group

Following the approval on April 28 of the allopurinol API developed by Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, just one day later, the lornoxicam API developed by another Group subsidiary, Hebei Guolong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has now been approved by the National Medical Products Administration and registered as an API for use in marketed dosage forms.
Following the approval on April 28 of the allopurinol API developed by Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, just one day later, the lornoxicam API developed by another Group subsidiary, Hebei Guolong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has now been approved by the National Medical Products Administration and registered as an API for use in marketed dosage forms.
To date, the Group has obtained a total of 76 API marketing approvals, including 32 held by China Long Pharmaceutical. Previously, in October 2024, the Group’s Class 4 chemical drug—Lornoxicam for Injection—received drug production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration and is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation.
According to available information, lornoxicam is primarily used for the treatment of acute moderate postoperative pain as well as pain associated with acute low back and sciatic nerve conditions.
The approval of this lornoxicam API will inject new momentum into the Group’s integrated “API-plus-formulation” development strategy and further promote synergistic development across the industry chain.
