Recently, Liu Chunyan, Dean of the School of Pharmacy at North China University of Science and Technology, led a delegation to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group to conduct enterprise visits aimed at expanding employment opportunities and to inspect the internship arrangements and thesis-writing progress of the class of 2025 graduates who are currently interning at the company.

Dean Liu Chunyan and her delegation held a symposium with the heads of the Group’s internship bases and the enterprise mentors, during which they discussed and exchanged views on student employment, serving local economic and social development, graduate student training, and research collaboration.

Dean Liu Chunyan and her delegation conducted an in-depth visit to the production workshops, met with students currently undertaking internships, and engaged in face-to-face discussions to gain a thorough understanding of their thesis topics and internship experiences. They patiently addressed the challenges these students encountered in writing their graduation theses and during their internship, encouraging them to continuously hone their professional skills, successfully complete their internship assignments, and clearly define their career positioning and plans while remaining grounded, diligent, and committed to healthy personal development.

North China University of Science and Technology is a key provincial university under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province and a designated institution in the province’s “Double First-Class” initiative. The School of Pharmacy at North China University of Science and Technology offers three undergraduate programs: Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Preparations, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Currently, the school has more than 1,000 undergraduate students. It also confers master’s degrees in the first-level discipline of Pharmacy, professional master’s degrees in Pharmacy, and a master’s degree in Preventive Pharmacology. In June 2023, the Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with North China University of Science and Technology to deepen the integrated development of industry and education, establish off-campus internship and practical training bases, and promote high-quality employment for college graduates through pragmatic collaboration.
