Su Xuejun, Chairman of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, and Sun Lijie, Executive President and General Manager (Director) of the R&D Center (Pharmaceutical Research Institute), attended the event.

On the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, earnestly carry out the Hebei Provincial Association for Science and Technology’s “Innovation-driven Hebei” action plan, and promote the deep integration of Party building with scientific and technological innovation, on the afternoon of June 25, Wang Lianshui, Executive Vice Chairman of the Hebei Pharmaceutical Society, led a science and technology service delegation composed of renowned provincial medical institutions and distinguished experts and scholars from Hebei Medical University to visit Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group as part of a “Welcoming July 1st, Remembering the Party’s Kindness” outreach initiative. Su Xuejun, Chairman of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, and Sun Lijie, Executive President and General Manager (Director) of the R&D Center (Pharmaceutical Research Institute), attended the event.

A delegation from the Provincial Pharmaceutical Society’s Science and Technology Service Team conducted on-site visits to the Group’s High-tech Zone 103 Soft-Pouch Production Workshop and R&D Center laboratories, where they listened in detail to briefings by relevant Group officials on the integrated innovation and development model of “active pharmaceutical ingredients plus formulations,” the Group’s future business blueprint, its long-term strategic plan, and the remarkable achievements it has attained in recent years in the fields of specialty generic drugs and innovative drug R&D. Through the on-site inspection and in-depth exchanges, the members of the service team gained a firsthand understanding of the Group’s innovative practices in key technological breakthroughs and production-process optimization, and deeply appreciated the vital role that biopharmaceutical enterprises play in driving high-quality industrial development.

During the symposium, experts and scholars from the science-and-technology service team, together with enterprise leaders and technical personnel, studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on scientific and technological innovation and engaged in in-depth discussions on innovative practices in the province’s biopharmaceutical industry. Experts and scholars from Hebei Provincial People’s Hospital, Hebei Medical University, Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, The First Hospital of Hebei Medical University, and The Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University, drawing on their respective areas of expertise and research strengths, offered constructive suggestions on such topics as new-drug development, process optimization, and the commercialization of research outcomes, with specific reference to the group’s R&D pipeline strategy, breakthroughs in small-molecule compound technologies, and the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine.

Wang Lianshui stated that leveraging Party building to guide development and harnessing technological services to drive innovation are key measures for effectively implementing and achieving results in the “Innovation-driven Hebei” initiative. The Provincial Pharmaceutical Society will continue to establish platforms for exchange and collaboration, supporting leading provincial biopharmaceutical enterprises—such as Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group—in breaking through technological bottlenecks and contributing to the construction of a Healthy China.

Relevant officials from the Group expressed their gratitude for the Service Team’s professional guidance and expressed their hope to strengthen cooperation with the Science and Technology Service Team, establish a long-term collaborative mechanism, and jointly promote the quality improvement, upgrading, and leapfrog development of our province’s biopharmaceutical industry.
