Time-honored brands in Shijiazhuang refer to brands—such as brand names and trademarks—that have a long history within the administrative boundaries of Shijiazhuang, have been passed down through generations in terms of products, skills, or services, are deeply rooted in the city’s traditional culture and cultural heritage, enjoy broad social recognition, and have earned a solid reputation.
The “Shimen” brand of Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical derives its name from Shijiazhuang’s former appellation and enjoys deep historical ties to the city. Over the more than seventy years since the company was founded, generation after generation of Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical employees has remained true to the original aspiration of “producing high-quality medicines for the people,” consistently upholding quality and integrity to enhance the enduring appeal of the “Shimen” brand. According to available information, in order to promote the innovative development of time-honored brands while upholding their core values and leveraging their exemplary and leading role, and to ensure the solid implementation of the initiative to establish model time-honored brands in Shijiazhuang, the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, in collaboration with the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism and the Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, has organized the first round of recognition for Shijiazhuang’s time-honored brands in accordance with the relevant requirements set forth in the “Notice on Issuing the Measures for the Recognition and Management of Time-Honored Brands in Shijiazhuang.” Following recommendations from various counties (cities and districts), expert review, on-site verification, and public announcement—with no objections raised during the publicity period—34 enterprises have been recognized as the first batch of “Shijiazhuang Time-Honored Brands.”
