On November 27, the 2025 Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Pharmaceutical Inspector Vocational Skills Competition was held at Hebei Chemical and Pharmaceutical Vocational Technical College. After a day of intense competition, athletes from Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group delivered outstanding performances: Sun Zhuoyan from the Quality Management Center won second prize, and Guo Congcong took third prize, demonstrating solid professional skills and a commendable professional demeanor.
This competition was hosted by the Trade Union of Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone and organized by Hebei Vocational College of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology. A total of 29 contestants from nine resident enterprises—including Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical, Yiling Pharmaceutical, Weiyuan Biochemical, Huapu Shijiazhuang Pharmaceutical, Lesheng Pharmaceutical, and Gerui Pharmaceutical—competed on the same stage.
According to reports, the competition consists of two components: theoretical knowledge and practical skills, with the theoretical component accounting for 30% of the total score and the practical component accounting for 70%. The competition comprehensively assesses contestants’ fundamental theoretical knowledge, professional skills, and occupational ethics required for positions in pharmaceutical production, inspection and testing, and quality management, with particular emphasis on their integrated competencies in areas such as standard solution preparation, standard curve construction, sample preparation and analysis, data processing, and laboratory safety management.
In the highly anticipated hands-on segment, contestants engaged in fierce competition centered on the quality analysis of acetaminophen tablets. At the competition site, participants were required to precisely carry out sample weighing, solution preparation, and sample pretreatment, while skillfully employing precision instruments such as UV–Vis spectrophotometers to determine the active ingredient content. In the instrument-operation area, team members displayed focused concentration and executed procedures with meticulous precision, carefully adjusting parameters and diligently recording data; in the chemical-analysis area, they performed titrations with rigor and closely monitored changes in reagents. Throughout the competition, the contestants demonstrated expert operational skills, rigorous data-processing capabilities, and robust result-analysis expertise, fully reflecting the exceptional professional competence of the Group’s pharmaceutical-testing personnel.
The head of the Group Trade Union stated, “Skills competitions are not merely a contest of professional competence; they also serve to inherit and promote the spirit of craftsmanship.
