Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s Propafenone Hydrochloride Injection (20 mL: 70 mg) Has Been Approved

On January 30, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s Class 3 chemical drug—propafenone hydrochloride injection (20 mL: 70 mg)—received production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration and is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation, making it the third domestic company to obtain such approval. This also marks the third new product approved since the beginning of this year.

According to available information, propafenone hydrochloride injection is indicated for the treatment of symptomatic supraventricular tachycardia, including atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia, WPW syndrome complicated by supraventricular tachycardia or paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, as well as life-threatening ventricular tachycardia when deemed necessary by a physician.
