To effectively implement summer heat-prevention and cooling measures and safeguard the health of these workers, on July 14, Party, mass organization, and trade union staff from Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group went directly to the front lines to carry out a “Summer Coolness Delivery” campaign, conveying the care and concern of the company and its trade union.

Recently, prolonged high-temperature weather has posed a significant “heat challenge” for frontline workers engaged in outdoor operations. To effectively implement summer heat-prevention and cooling measures and safeguard the health of these workers, on July 14, Party and mass work personnel along with union representatives from Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group went directly to the front lines to carry out a “Summer Coolness Delivery” campaign, conveying the care and concern of the company and the trade union.

During the event, Party and mass organization as well as trade union staff from the Group, armed with heat-prevention and cooling medications, towels, beverages, and other care packages, visited outdoor work sites across various production areas—such as warehousing and logistics, security, and sanitation and landscaping—to deliver “cooling relief” and heartfelt concern to frontline employees who remain steadfast at their posts. At the same time, they conducted a thorough on-site assessment of working conditions and environments, reminding relevant supervisors and workers to implement effective heat-prevention and cooling measures as well as proper personal protective equipment in high-temperature weather, to stagger work hours and rotate shifts, and to ensure safe production and a secure summer.

“Every drop of coolness conveys a touch of care.” The “Summer Coolness Delivery” initiative is one of the Group and the trade union’s ongoing efforts to show concern for employees. It not only brings relief from the heat and heartfelt support to frontline workers, but also strengthens team cohesion and a sense of belonging, greatly inspiring all staff. Zhu Haichun, a forklift driver at the Warehousing and Logistics Center, said: “Receiving these summer-prevention care packages warms my heart. We will rise to the challenge posed by the extreme heat and ensure the smooth operation of inbound and outbound logistics activities.”

“Going forward, we will continue to closely monitor summer production conditions and the needs of frontline workers, implement a range of measures, and proactively provide robust support to ensure a comfortable working environment for frontline staff during the summer, ensuring that the company’s care and concern reach every employee in a timely and meaningful way,” said the head of the group’s trade union.
