On the evening of August 6, a shipment of urgently needed medicines valued at RMB 4.695 million, donated by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, arrived in Luanping County and Xinglong County. The consignment includes 10 types of medications—ranging from basic intravenous fluids and antibiotics to cardiovascular drugs—and will be promptly distributed to all disaster relief shelters.

On the evening of August 6, a shipment of urgently needed medicines valued at RMB 4.695 million, donated by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, arrived in Luanping County and Xinglong County. This batch, comprising 10 types of medications—including basic intravenous fluids, antibiotics, and cardiovascular drugs—will be promptly distributed to various disaster relief shelters.
Recently, several areas in our province have experienced sustained heavy rainfall, resulting in flash floods in Xinglong and Luanping counties of Chengde City and causing damage to roads, power grids, telecommunications networks, water supply systems, and the infrastructure of primary-level medical institutions. In response to this sudden disaster, the Group promptly activated its emergency response mechanism. After assessing the operational status of local medical institutions and the medication needs of the affected population, the Group, under the professional guidance of the Hebei Provincial Drug Administration, carefully formulated a list of donated medicines and coordinated with the Hebei Red Cross Society to establish a donation channel, thereby swiftly dispatching emergency aid to the disaster-stricken areas.
“United in spirit, we will overcome these difficult times together.” To ensure the swift delivery of donated medicines to the disaster-stricken areas, the Group urgently coordinated resources across production, warehousing, logistics, and sales, efficiently completing the stocking of 10 pharmaceutical products within 24 hours. Su Xuejun, Chairman of the Group, stated: “The development of our enterprise is inseparable from societal support, and giving back to society is a responsibility we cannot shirk. We hope this batch of medicines will provide tangible assistance to the affected regions, helping the disaster victims to weather this crisis and rebuild their homes at an early date.”
On the morning of August 6, two container trucks belonging to the Group, each fully loaded with donated pharmaceuticals valued at RMB 4.695 million, arrived at the Sinopharm Le Rentang Logistics Center to assemble. At a brief ceremony marking the centralized dispatch of donated medicines from pharmaceutical companies based in Hebei Province, Guan Jingbin, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Hebei Provincial Drug Administration, highly commended Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical and other Hebei-based pharmaceutical firms for their swift response and strong sense of responsibility in flood relief efforts, praising them for “demonstrating social responsibility with the industry’s hallmark professional efficiency and upholding the corporate mission of putting life first.”
