On February 17, Liu Jinsong, Chairman of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of the Provincial General Chamber of Commerce, together with Ma Qiang, Vice Chairman of the Federation, led a delegation to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to conduct a research visit and extend condolences to the company’s employees and entrepreneurs who are working on the front lines of epidemic prevention and control.

At each stop, Liu Jinsong and his delegation extended their condolences to enterprise employees working on the front lines of epidemic prevention and control, expressing gratitude for their unwavering dedication, overtime work, and selfless contributions in ensuring a stable supply of medicines at the frontline and safeguarding public health and safety.

Liu Jinsong and his delegation conducted an in-depth visit to the production workshops, gaining a detailed understanding of the enterprise’s current operations and challenges, including tight supplies of raw materials and disruptions in logistics and transportation. They also carefully listened to a briefing by Su Xuejun, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical, on how the company has demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and taken proactive measures in the fight against the epidemic.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has actively responded to the call of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, conscientiously fulfilled its social responsibilities as a corporate citizen, and promptly donated emergency medicines—including 2.15 million yuan worth of Arbidol Hydrochloride Capsules and Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride Sodium Chloride Injection—to key hospitals in Wuhan dedicated to epidemic prevention and control and to the Shennongjia Forestry District, thereby effectively ensuring the medication needs of frontline anti-epidemic efforts.

Liu Jinsong stated that all parties must further align their thinking and enhance their awareness, remain vigilant at all times, and earnestly ensure the health and safety of frontline employees to guarantee a safe resumption of production and work. During this critical period in the fight against the pneumonia epidemic, he expressed the hope that enterprises will further stabilize and expand production, improve efficiency, and boost capacity, thereby contributing the strength of private enterprises to the decisive battle against the epidemic. Party organizations within private enterprises should fully play their role as strong bastions; Party members and cadres must take the lead, dare to assume responsibility, and truly serve as pioneers and role models.
