On March 10, Bi Kaichun, First-Level Inspector of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Head of the Tenth Special Task Force of the Medical Supplies Guarantee Group under the State Council Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism for the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic, conducted a research visit to Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shisi Pharmaceutical Group, accompanied by Zhang Guodong, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Cangzhou Municipal Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Bohai New Area, and Head of the Leading Group for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in the Bohai New Area.

Bi Kaichun conducted a detailed briefing with Gao Shuping, Chairperson of Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, on the implementation of the company’s epidemic prevention and control measures as well as its resumption of work and production. Bi Kaichun commended the company for the significant achievements it has made in both epidemic prevention and control and in promoting economic and social development. He encouraged the company to steadfastly regard innovation as the primary driving force behind its development, continuously enhance product quality and operational efficiency, prioritize scientific and technological research and development and the commercialization of scientific and technological advances, actively explore the construction of industrial internet platforms, and constantly strengthen its innovative capacity and competitiveness.
Gao Shuping stated that they will continue to rigorously implement all prevention and control measures and comprehensively advance the resumption of production and attainment of full operational efficiency. At the same time, they will intensify efforts in scientific and technological innovation, strengthen and expand the enterprise, and make greater contributions to advancing the development of the coastal economic belt.
