I am currently in the intravenous solution production workshop of Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Although it is already late in the evening, the workshop is brightly lit. More than a hundred employees are working diligently and in an orderly manner. Right beside me, boxes of PP plastic-bottle intravenous solutions are continuously rolling off the production line and being stored in the warehouse.

We have just learned that these products will soon be exported to countries in Africa and Southeast Asia. Next, we have invited Mr. Li Bo, Manager of the Foreign Trade Department at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., to provide an overview of the company’s current production status.

Currently, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has fully resumed production and operations. In addition to continuing to ensure the production of emergency epidemic-control medications, all other production lines are now operating at full capacity on two shifts. The company’s flagship product—large-volume intravenous solutions—is now being shipped from the warehouse at a daily rate of over 4.5 million bottles, returning to normal production levels.

The company adheres to a dual-channel sales strategy. Currently, our international sales team primarily engages with overseas customers and conducts business negotiations via telephone, email, and other digital channels. In the first two months of this year, the company’s international sales continued to post double-digit growth.

We have just learned that many of the epidemic-prevention medications produced by Shisi Pharmaceutical have played a highly effective and positive role in the fight against the pandemic. Have you considered exporting these products to international markets?

Currently, while continuing to excel in our standard export product portfolio, we have placed particular emphasis on intensifying international marketing efforts for antiviral and antibacterial pharmaceuticals developed during the pandemic—such as Arbidol capsules, moxifloxacin hydrochloride sodium chloride injection, and the company’s disinfectant products. At present, in response to the specific needs of overseas customers, we are collaborating closely with them to carry out the requisite preliminary market-access activities for these products.
