Recently, the trade union of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has meticulously organized and launched a knowledge-based quiz competition with prizes, aimed at enhancing the overall competence of all employees, deepening their understanding and appreciation of the company’s corporate culture, strengthening their awareness of workplace safety and product quality, and fostering a robust learning environment that upholds outstanding corporate values, promotes the spirit of craftsmanship, and elevates professional skills.
With a few taps on the screen and a simple swipe of the finger, employees can answer online quizzes on corporate culture—and stand a chance to win a generous trade union gift package. On May 7, as soon as the prize-winning quiz was launched, it immediately captured the attention of a wide swath of company staff. In their spare time, employees eagerly grabbed their smartphones and took part in the “cloud quiz” via the company’s official WeChat account, with “Have you taken the quiz yet?” quickly becoming a new standard greeting among colleagues.
“I’ve already covered all this material in the onboarding training, but I regret not studying it more diligently back then—many of the questions left me uncertain about the correct answers.” On the morning of May 7, Wang Yinhua from Workshop 208 scratched his head as he submitted his answer sheet. “I started the exam full of confidence, but once I saw the questions, I immediately ran into trouble. From now on, I’ll make sure to study thoroughly and master the material so that I can achieve good results in the next four rounds of the quiz competition!”
“I’ve got it all covered!” Ren Bo from the Human Resources Department said with a delighted smile after finishing the exam. “Most of the questions were drawn from the corporate culture handbook—after all, I regularly conduct training for new employees, so I’ve long since mastered these key concepts.”
Not only have headquarters employees participated extensively, but many staff at the Jiangsu Bosheng subsidiary, located thousands of miles away, have also been closely following the prize-winning quiz. “I’ve read every single issue of the ‘Four Pharmaceutical People’ factory newspaper and the group’s official WeChat account—without missing a single one—and they keep me well informed about the group’s latest developments,” said Ding Zhonghua, a Bosheng employee. “The little bits of knowledge I’ve accumulated over time really came in handy during this quiz!”
It is reported that the prize-winning quiz campaign will be held in five phases, with each phase focusing on a specific theme. The content covers five areas: corporate culture, workplace safety, Party building knowledge, product quality, and process technology, and each employee has one chance to take the quiz per phase. After following the “Shisiyao Employee e-Jia” WeChat official account, employees can enter the quiz interface by replying with the two characters “quiz,” and once they have completed the questions, they can click “submit.” At the end of each phase, participants will be ranked based on their quiz scores, with five first-prize winners, ten second-prize winners, and twenty third-prize winners selected.
