On June 2, Niu Xuejian, Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, led staff from the Intellectual Property Utilization and Promotion Division to conduct an inspection of the implementation of the “High-Value Patent Portfolio Development Project for Antiviral (Antibacterial) and Antitumor Chemical Drugs” undertaken by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and to carry out a research and guidance visit on the company’s intellectual property work.
On June 2, Niu Xuejian, Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, led relevant staff from the Intellectual Property Utilization and Promotion Division to conduct an inspection of the implementation of the “High-Value Patent Portfolio Development Project for Antiviral (Antibacterial) and Antitumor Chemical Drugs” undertaken by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and to carry out a research and guidance visit on the company’s intellectual property work.
At the meeting, Wang Lijiang, Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Research Institute, delivered a detailed report on the company’s recent achievements in scientific and technological innovation and intellectual property work, with a particular focus on the implementation status of the project to cultivate high-value patent portfolios for antiviral (antibacterial) and anticancer chemical drugs.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has placed great emphasis on intellectual property management, establishing and refining its IP management structure. The company has continuously strengthened the responsibilities and authorities related to IP application, protection, operation, and management, developed a number of scientific and technological achievements with independent intellectual property rights, and successfully translated these innovations into industrial applications. This has effectively propelled the company’s technological advancement and provided robust innovation support for its transformation and development.
After listening to the briefing, Niu Xuejian commended Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical for its practical efforts and progress in intellectual property work, particularly the significant results it has achieved in patent licensing and patent transfer—key aspects of patent commercialization. He emphasized that innovation and intellectual property are fundamental pillars for corporate development, and that IP management is especially critical in the pharmaceutical industry. He encouraged the company to further enhance its awareness of IP matters, strengthen its IP management system, improve its capacity for IP protection and commercialization, and leverage independently owned IP rights to drive business growth.
The research delegation also visited the Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical New Drug Research Institute, where they gained an in-depth understanding of the institute’s R&D technologies, systems, and strategic plans, and received on-site answers to practical questions encountered in intellectual property practice.
